1. Press and hold the power button
The power button is the smallest physical button on the tablet. It is often placed on the short end of the tablet. Press and hold this button until the screen turns on.
The tablet is now on. It may need a minute or two to start up.

If the tablets are going to be out of use for a time, such as during the holidays, it is a good idea to turn them off so that the battery is not empty when returning.
1. Press and hold the power button
The power button is the smallest physical button on the tablet. It is often placed on the short end of the tablet. Press and hold this button until a popup appears.
2. Tap on "Power off"
In the popup box, tap on "Power off".
3. Confirm
You will receive a new popup box stating that "Your tablet will shut down."
Tap on OK to confirm.
The tablet will now shut down.

1. Put the adapter in the wall socket and plug the usb cable into the adapter.
2. It should look like this when the cable is plugged in.
3. Plug the other end of the cable into the usb port on the tablet. This port is normally located on the short end of the tablet.
4. It should look like this when the cable is plugged in.
5. In the top right corner of the tablet, a battery with a lightning symbol inside should now indicate that the tablet is charging.
