Traditionally, a launcher app is an app that controls the layout of the home screens on Android devices. The apps that are installed on an Android device are accessible through the launcher's app drawer. One can normally drag apps from the app drawer onto the home screens of the launcher, organizing them in the desired way. The apps in the app drawer are normally just sorted alphabetically.
The Leap Launcher, however, is a launcher app with a predefined layout defined by Leap Learning. The Leap Launcher will only show the Leap Learning apps, which are organized by category and difficulty. The Leap Launcher do not have an app drawer, and the users cannot modify the layout. Everything is predefined and not possible to modify.
The app drawer in a traditional launcher normally presents the all of the apps in one view, ordered alphabetically.
The Leap Launcher shows only the Leap Learning apps and presents them in an organized way, sorted by categories and difficulty.
Note the row of white dots at the bottom of the screen. These buttons indicate the number of pages in the Leap Launcher. The biggest dot shows which page you are currently on. You can swipe sideways to browse through the pages.
